I'm frigging fed up with the shipping crap, too. Not only that, but the desire to make everyone gay.
Where did this weird obsession with gayness come from anyway?

Also, it's getting VERY hard to avoid shipping, because it's EVERYWHERE. People need to slow the hell down and actually do something with their lives. Romance isn't the end-all and be-all of life. Sometimes, you know, I'd rather support one character killing off another or something instead.

By the way, what's with confusing fandom with the media it's spawned from? Just because I watch a show or read a book or play a game does not mean I'm a member of the fandom or that media IS fandom. Fandom is only the groups that base their fanaticism on that one particular subject, not the subject itself. I'm sick of being lumped in with a bunch of loons just because I like something.

...I should really expand on this in my journal. I'm very anti-shipping and anti-fandom as well. I miss being able to think for myself.

I seriously love your stamp. I've been trying to find one that isn't pro or anti-ANYTHING. I always thought(depending on the series) the storyline was much more important than the pairing. I'd love to use this stamp. :3;

My god, I know EXACTLY how you feel. Sooooo fed up with it all. I mean, I'll do some stuff, but it's with my own stories, ya know? The stuff that I make up, not someone else. God. And I avoid fandoms at ALL COSTS. MY FREAKING GOD. Especially the Danny Phantom Fandom, dunno if you know aboutthat at all, but it was messy. *Shakes head* And over a TV show! Over a bunch of pixels! Honestly, people. Get lives.

Ahahaha. Might be a good idea, but I've been told I'm a good listener when someone needs to rant. And how can you have half a brain and NOT be against it? It's impossible.

Thank you! It's a rare thing to be neutral, I s' pose. Well... More that there are too many idiots that are completely psycho about their pairings, lol. And I agree! That's why I watch shows or read books or whatever: The PLOT. Now, if it's a romance novel, that's one thing, but even then, I read it for the plot, not because I want Mary to end up with Bob instead of with Joe. Lol. And go right ahead, use it! I'd be honored if you did!

I have a few favorite parings, but I don't get all obsessive about it. To me, I think that there are more fans who are more worried about who ends up with who instead of the anime or cartoon itself.
