Hope and Disappointment

  • Eating: Nothing
  • Drinking: Nothing.
My god, life has been crazy thanks to good old P. Mo.
AKA Patrick.
Okay. So, he ended up not playing the other night. Dunno why. But today, the phone rings, and a guy is there, answering my hello.
Patrick called me.
And he asked me to go to his house to hang out with him, his cousin (Another friend of mine, Travis), and Trav's girlfriend. Needless to say, I was estatic. Pat wanted to hang out with me! Yeah, Anna and Kristen were originally invited too, but that's okay, since Anna's my friend and I was still a part of that deal, meaning he wanted to spend time with me.
But, of course, I couldn't go. Why? Because. Of. Mum. Because he doesn't live right down the street. Because there's one inch of snow out there. Because he is of the opposite sex and that AUTOMATICALLY makes him by secret lover.
And, of course, in all that, I got to hear more about how awful of a daughter I am and how much trouble I am and I was left to think about how happy she'd be without a damn third daughter, as always.
I can't take living here much longer. I can't ever do anything but sit here and hate myself.

He wants to spend time with me. But we can't. Because of her.

Sheesh, your mum is a little too strict. Okay, way too strict. But seriously, does she not understand that you're a teenager, and that you need some extra freedom? I'm sorry, and no offence to you at all, but she needs to stop making you feel so bad. You're way too awesome for someone to push around like that.

you mom seems kinda paranoid. It kinda looks like she doesn't want to let go of you just yet. I mean, I don't know your family of course, and I don't know the history and stuff, but.............she has some issues of letting her family alone? idk.

Lol, now you see. As I told Angela earlier, no one likes my mum. At all. Way too nazi-ish. Anyway, no she does not understand that. I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm turning 8 on the 24th, not 15. Ugh. And no offense taken. Nothing you say could be worse than what I say. I really wish she would stop making me feel like shit, but she does it all the time about everything. I literally hide from her whenever I do something bad since I've already beat myself up about it and I know she's only going to make it worse by telling me how stupid I am or uncaring or whatever fits the situation. Usually, those two are thrown in anyway. XP

To say the least. From what me and my best bud Syd have figured out, she has an incurable case of Empty Nest Syndrome. Plus, she's just controlling to begin with. And, yes, she is VERY parinoid. Like you would not belive.

aaaaaaaahhhhhhh, ENS, how I never had my mum had it.

'cause there's only me and sis and I'm the eldest by 1/2 year.

and she has dogs and animals to take care of.

maybe you can get your mom a pet. Like a puppy, or kitty, or lizard, or fish, or a bird..........no spiders.
